Old Heatilator electrode?

Hello all,

I am trying to get an old Heatilater fireplace (gc720e) back into shape. The ignition electrode has a wire with one end sealed within the ceramic housing, so to replace the wire, which has seen better days, I need to replace the whole electrode assembly. (Heatilater part 17003) But for the life of me I cannot find the same or a similar assembly. Can anyone point me to a replacement. Will another style of electrode work? I am including a picture below. Thanks for any help you can provide!

This seems to be the latest manual for your unit.

I don't see that part number listed, it's possibly been replaced with something newer since the original purchase you made?

You may have some luck locating a dealer here.

Old Heatilator electrode?

Thanks so much! All of the numbers here are different from the manual I was working from, which is actually one that Heatilator emailed me last year when I was working on a different problem. There do not appear to be any Heatilator dealers anywhere near me, but at least with a current item number I have someplace to start. Thanks again!

Glad to help. Hope that gets you sorted. If there are no dealers nearby, you may just have to call or email the closest one and deal with the shipping on the new part or they may be able to direct you to a closer affiliate that carries parts.
