old furnance blower
1 Attachment(s)
I have an old furnance blower that I want to use I know the white wire is common and the numbered connection are the different speeds there are 2 brown wires coming from the motor to the start/run cap. when I connect the white and red wire to power the blower hums if I give it a little push it runs so do I need another connection to the cap? or does the wiring look complete and the cap could be bad?

Wire on right isn't connect to capacitor.
Connect it. And should be fine, if capacitor is good. |
It is connected to a spade connection there are 3 connection points the one with no wires has 2 spade connections the one on the left w/wire has 4 and has a red dot next to it and the other one (that look disconnected) w/wire looks like its connected to the case

The one connected to the case. Should be on the one that has no wires on it.
