Old air handler

tbalon Newbie   Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 3	Old air handler I just replaced my 13 yr old air handler myself because of a leaky evaporator coil and now want to know what the best way is to scrap the old air handler unit.

beenthere An old Tradesmen   Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: PA Posts: 18,666	Old air handler Dismantle it, and take it to the scrape yard. The coil will bring a few bucks.

tbalon Newbie   Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 3	Old air handler That's a great idea!! Thanks. I would like to keep the blower and motor too after I clean it up as it is still working fine.
