Old air handler

I just replaced my 13 yr old air handler myself because of a leaky evaporator coil and now want to know what the best way is to scrap the old air handler unit.

Old air handler

Dismantle it, and take it to the scrape yard. The coil will bring a few bucks.

Old air handler

That's a great idea!! Thanks. I would like to keep the blower and motor too after I clean it up as it is still working fine. I think it would be a great floor dryer or attic fan.... any other thoughts or suggestions?
