Oil Furnace Warranty/Installation ?

I had a new oil furnace installed about 8 months ago. Furnace heats hotwater and baseboard heat. Looks like the tempering valve/mixing valve has gone bad. I have the valve set to 160 degrees and it barely reaches 110. Question is should this part be replaced for free by the company that installed the complete system?

Thank you for your response.

No. Was it in the contract to replace? Did you have hot water for the last 8 months?

What he said.

If it was included in your install, than yes. Check your warranty papers to seehow long a warranty you have.

As others, if they installed it new with teh boiler, yes, it should be included in their warranty.

Why, what did they say.
