Oil Furnace want start after changing the filter and pushing the reset button


How do I get the furnace to light the pilot after replacing the filter. I pushed the reset button and it still doesn't light

I'm no pro but as far as I know oil furnaces do not have pilots. Do not keep hitting the reset button until someone here can help; everytime you hit it, it should be dumping oil into combustion chamber and it will cause you more problems. What filter did you replace?

Did it work before you changed the oil filter.

Did you bleed the oil filter before you tried to run the furnace?
