Oil furnace

Got oil in the tank?
When was the last time it was cleaned and serviced?

Could be anything ,over 100 differant things.I can't tell you anything from what you have said.
The only thing I can tell you is that until you figure it out DO NOT HIT THAT "RESET" BUTTON AGAIN.
iF YOU HAVE OIL AND IF YOUR PUMP IS WORKING AND IF YOUR FILTER IS CLEAN AND IF AIR HASN'T SOMEHOW GOTTEN INTO YOUR FUEL LINE AND IF YOUR NOZZLE ISN'T PLUGGED, Then hittingt the reset button is pouring oil into your combustion chamber. You don't even want to think about the burner catching on with 2 or 3 squirts of oil already in the combustion chamber.
Now its time to call someone to set it up with instraments.Long gone are the days when people could set a burner by eye.Doing it by eye might get you heat but could cost you $400 extra this year.
