no vents upstairs

trombley Newbie   Join Date: Sep 2012 Posts: 1	no vents upstairs Have swiched an old home that originally had oil furnace ( with no vents upstairs) , then previous owner changed to electric heat throughout, we have put in a gas furnace. Will the heat rise to the upstairs without there being any vents upstairs, or will we have to continue using electric upstairs.

beenthere An old Tradesmen   Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: PA Posts: 18,620	no vents upstairs Depends how open the 2 floors are to each other. And if you ever want to close the bedroom doors, or always leave them open in the winter.
