no vents upstairs

Have swiched an old home that originally had oil furnace ( with no vents upstairs) , then previous owner changed to electric heat throughout, we have put in a gas furnace. Will the heat rise to the upstairs without there being any vents upstairs, or will we have to continue using electric upstairs.

no vents upstairs

Depends how open the 2 floors are to each other. And if you ever want to close the bedroom doors, or always leave them open in the winter.
