No spark

Hey everyone. I've got an armstrong hvac unit blowing cold air. It seems to be my Fenwal automatic ignition system is not providing spark from the plug to the ignitor. Does the whole module have to be replaced or could it be something else? I'd hate to run out and buy the part if that's not the problem. PLEASE HELP

Post a pic of it and the front of the furnace and burners. Is it getting a 24 volt signal to tell it to spark? If so the whole module needs replacing. I am not totally familiar with your unit so don't ask me how to find the signal. Would need the wiring diagram to help more.

Thanx Yuri. I put a meter on the spark plug and got no reading...no juice. I'm leaning toward replacement

It should have 2 wires to it from the control board telling it when to produce the spark.

when you do a call for heat does the blower motor turn on and blow cold air? if so then you have a safety switch out. and with a safety switch tripped its not going to try to spark.
