No Hot water

We just replaced our air conditioning unit in our house, the installer said he replace the coil for the furnace too. Since then we have not had any hot water. Could this be the coil? or just the flick of a switch somewhere?? Its late Friday morning and we are unable to get a hold of the guy! HELP!!

Only if you have a Boiler, and your water comes from there. If you really want to find out, go get on your hand and knees in front of the Water Heater and look to see if the Pilot is lit. Most likely the contractor either did not turn back on the gas, or forgot to light both pilots.
