no heat
I have a steam boiler heating 12 apts. everything gets hot except three radiators all on one 2" riser, teree apts one on top of the other. riser is getting hot but radiators are not, one pipe system with vents, no steam traps. vents are new radiators are clear and have pitch back to pipe. any ideas?

Are there valves on those rads.
Does steam come out the vent hole if you take the vent out while the boiler is running. What pressure is the boiler set for. Too high, and the vents will close too quick, and you won't get heat. |
