No cold air from A/C

It's that time of the year when it got hot quick. We turned on our A/C, lowered the temp on the thermostat and waited for it to cool down. Nothing. The air from the vents is cool, not cold. I checked the program on the thermostat and nothing changed. I reset the thermostat, nothing. I have a white-rodgers 1F80-224 thermostat and a rheem air conditioner. Need suggestions to make it blow cold air, not cool air.

No cold air from A/C

Does the outdoor unit start?
Does the outdoor fan come on?
Have you ever needed to add refrigerant to it?
