ng furnace won't turn off

totally awsome! yeah, it cost $5100, but the humi was cracked and not fixable. who ever installed it put it on the hot side and as a result, the housing melted. it has been replaced relocated to the cold side. i have a ton of pics of the furnace install but i'm not sure if i would post them, not sure if name dropping is permited. i feel like i got what i payed for. i was treated with respect, he explained everything to me as i was his shadow for the whole thing. i think differently now having a solid, quiet unit. he explained how the 2 stage system worked. it maxes out at 70,000btu. it will normally run on the low stage all the time. it is set to cycle after 1 deg drop. the high stage kicks in only when needed. i have the a/c power and he would have chosen a d/c motor over the a/c. as for craftmanship, truley topshelf! the most interesting part was the core drilling. that was 2 minutes of awsomeness! the worst part was the pvc glue for the exaust... i still have a headache. the other glue that his partner used on the pump smelled like a 4:20 safety meeting. 22c, no c0, cbd= happy!

Post them!!!

We all like to hear when a job goes well for a homeowner and that you were happy with the way you were treated. Makes both HO an pro happy to read a success story.
Now post them pics cause you got me wanting to see a good clean install.

Post all of them!! Yuri and Benthere would be very disappointed if they missed seeing them.

The guy MUST be a Pro if he has proper power shears and doesn't just hack a hole with a hammer and slotted screwdriver ( can opener) method.

lol, they did use the screwdriver but i had put my camera down and couldn't find it. but they only did that to start in, then he zipped it. this is where it got interesting. this young guy showed up for the core cut, this was the best i could do, he was here and gone in under 10 min...lol fastest, most awsome show of skill! i should have taken video but...

Boy the guy REALLY must be a Pro if he owns one of those fancy UEI/Testo thing a ma jiggers.

With a concentric vent kit like you have you need to once a year check the intake hood outside for debris/spider webs and make sure no snow builds up near it and gets sucked in.

VERY nice job, most guys SLAM them in in 4 hrs and get paid piece work. I would throttle the damper on the humidifier half way closed, you don't really need HIGH velocity air flowing thru it. Mine is 1/2 closed and builds up more airflow upstairs rather than losing pressure and I can easily keep my RH at 30-35%.
