I noticed the furnace was running longer, but still kicks in quite often
For example this morning, the furnace turned OFF at 6:30 am exactly, and turned back ON 8 minutes later.....
Set point is 20'C (68'F)
When the furnace turned back ON at 6:38 am, temperature in the room was still at the set point
May be the smart response technology that was set on ON is the problem?
I've just turned it OFF to see how it affects the cycles .....

When I first got digital stats, it drove me crazy how often it seem to come on and off. But it appears that it is just this type of stat keeping a closer eye on things.

Having said that though, I also have some high ceilings and stairways that bleed off my heat in the winter and cause more cycling.

New furnace

Give it another day set at 3 and see if it gets a little better. It will always show the temp to be at set point, even though the temp might be 1/2 degree above or below.
