Here's a dead compressor in what I believe is an old York. All data plates and stickers are faded and there is no brand marking anywhere so I had to get the compressor model number. Even reading that was near impossible. Getting an entire new condenser this week.

In the end it's not going to matter, the home warranty company only replaces with Goodman 13 seer although her other system was replaced last year. She got a coil and a condenser, Goodman 14 seer 410-A.

This time it's only the condenser. I did ask the home owner if she had any service receipts for this old unit so I could possibly get a make and size. She called her husband and he said from what he remembers throughout the years it's a York.

1986 York, that is. Original to the home.

If I can't get anything tomorrow from the compressor model number than I'll be doing that.
