Question

Need help replacing Air Handler Control Board

I just replaced my York Air Handler Control Board with part number: 031-01264-002.

I got it all wired up expect for the wires going to the relay outside to control the fan and compressor.

Where do they connect on the terminals:

R Y G W2 W1 O C

I have the thermostat hooked up to:

R Y G W2 W1

But forgot to mark where the other two lines go.

I want to say its Y and O but want to be sure.

Thanks.

Need help replacing Air Handler Control Board

I had the system running and then shut it off and connected the cables to the Y and C.

Now the unit is not running even with the fan set to on instead of auto.

The fuse has not popped and the unit is getting power so the breaker is good.

I tried to cycle power to it but still nothing.

I removed the cables from Y and C and after a few minutes it started.

I figured that I just did not give it enough time so I reconnected the wires and turned it on but still nothing on fan auto or on.

I have removed the wires again and it is still not running.

Any ideas on why its not working?

Need help replacing Air Handler Control Board

Perhaps this is what took out the original board. need to check for a short in the wires going to the outdoor unit, and in the contactors coil.

agree with beethere seems like there could be a short in the control wiring to outdoor unit which caused your board to short out in the first place...check for shorted wires....and contactor wires...had one that was shorted took about an hour to burn up transformer....old style board no fuse..
