Need help with a Lennox Furnace

Hello Everyone, I hope someone can help me with this.

I have a Lennox furnace model# G23Q2/3 - 75 - 1. It is 16 years old.(date code 9-93)

I had a problem with the blower not coming on when the furnace fired up. After some research and reading a lot of info on this forum I figured it was the relay. On this furnace you have to replace the BCC. I bought and installed the new board and everything starts up as normal. Now when the house warms up and the furnace shuts down the blower keeps running. I can stop it by turning power off and back on. This stops the blower, but after about a 90 second delay the blower will start up again. The furnace DOES NOT start up only the blower. The new BCC is made by ICM Controls.

I'm a home improvement contractor but don't do a lot of HVAC work.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks
Drew

Sounds like your aftermarket board is not the right one. Lennox part number is a 48K98,believe it's made by heatcraft.
While you're there pull the blower assembly out and check the ring rivets on the heat exchanger.
