Question

Need HELP!!

I have a forced air furnace(gas). It has been working fine until yesterday. THe call for heat ignites the pilot but the burners do not ignite. Since it is New Year's Eve I would like to be able to fix this myself, as I cannot wait until Wednesday for the repairman. Any ideas?

Need HELP!!

Natural gas or propane (check tank...may have just enough for pilot, not enough for burners).
Hopefully, an HVAC pro will come along soon and help you.
Good luck!
Mike

I appreciate the answer, but I should have been clearer. The source is not propane but gas from Dominion. The furnace is a Carrier if that makes a difference. I already replaced the thermostat, no help. Any other ideas?

Look for any reset buttons. I just reset one when a window fan caused a down draft telling the gas to shut off. That would be all my knowledge on the subject.
