Need heat b4 winter

Had an Aquatherm water heater that supplied hot water for domestic use and water coil (in air handler) for heat. Last November I installed a instant water heater for the domestic water and tried a regular water heater (tank) for the hot water coil in air handler for the house heat. Instant water heater works well but the regular 55 gal water heater would not keep up. Could not keep house at 72 degrees when weather would go below freezing. Water heater can only supply 160 degree water, dont think thats hot enough? Now I'm thinking about putting a boiler to supply hot water coil in air handler. Any idea or suggestions???????? Thanks

You have less than 40,000 BTU's with your water heater and lots of it goes up the chimney so it is way too small. Do you still have the old Aquatherm to get the BTU rating off it? How are your electricity costs per kwhour. There are small electric boilers available and they can be wall mounted.
