Need flue pipe extended
hi i have been having a difficult time having to find someone that can extend my flue pipe up on the roof for my heating system last year snow storms because the flue is so short caused me to have no heat 2 different times because the snow was over the pipe i was told being the furnace has a safety feature if the flue is blocked the furnace just blows cool air so no carbon minoxide gets in the home it seems many of the contractors i called seem to avoid this kind of job but i had a contractor come here order a part spend nearly a half hour on the roof trying to put on the part he simply couldnt do the job told me he had the wrong part, could the problem be I own a remanufactured home with a miller gas furnance which many contractors might not be familiar with the miller furnance or any ideas where i can be looking for a contractor thank you
