My temp sensor works, But the furnace not blow the heat, no heat

My temp sensor works, But the furnace not blow the heat, no heat. I mean no fire at the bottom of the furnace. No gas smell.

Age/brand/model of furnace would help.
Are you saying that your thermostat works but your furnace doesn't fire up?

red emergency switch is UP/ON ...service switch side of furnace is UP/ON...shut the servcie switch off.remove the stat off the subbase and jump R to W unscrew one screw to other....that is a constant heat calll...down on the furnace toggle up/ON the service switch ...tell us what happens...is it a standing pilot, see a glow...hear a sparking sound like your stove burner....filter is clean

OK I'm confused. If you have no fire, how do you know your sensor is working.
When the thermostat is calling for heat,do you get 24V to the gas valve?
