My question wasn't answered

What will Happen if I

This is Only a HYPOTHETICAL Question,
just out of curiousity,

If I disconnect my power supply, shut off my gas at the meter and discharge the capacitor,

What will Happen when I cut the freon line ??

The compressor is under pressure, will the freon spew like crazy,
or will the pressure cause the compressor to blow up, ETC....

JUST from reading the replies in your question that "wasn't answered", I would guess that it would, in fact, "spew" out (since it would apparently come in contact with parts of your body). And since the second largest fear was ruining the atmosphere, I would also guess that the compressor would not blow up.

But again, read GUESS as exactly that. I'm not an HVAC tech, nor do I play one on TV :D

Nothing will happen with the compressor, but as was stated. the freon will come out at a very high rate and freeze anything it touches. Looks like to me the question has been answered more than once!
