My heil furnace does not always start up

I recently purchased a furnace and had it installed , however after a couple of months it has decided to randomly not turn on when the temperature drops. The temp inside the house has dropped as much as 6 degrees before the furnace has kicked back on. I have a honeywell digital thermostat and even if we increase the desired temp only the blower starts up then after a couple of minutes shuts off. this is totally random it may work all night then stop in the morning or work all day then stop an hour before I go to sleep. I thought it may have been over heating because of limited return air but I added a small return. maybe this isnt enough I dont know but I could use some advice.

look for a diagnostic led through a window in the blower door when it's acting up

if your describing that circular window on the lower panel I did it was off there was no light. and when it happens there is no flame on the upper rectangular window.

no light means you can't see it because the window is notoriously not lined up with the led, or a bad board, or no power

if you are diagnosing the furnace (only while diagnosing) remove door and tape door switch.

sorry for my ignorance but when you say diagnosing are you suggesting that I turn the furnace off before removing the panel.

when I say diagnosing, I mean don't just run your furnace with the door off.

Ok so it went off again and the light blinked 3 times which indicates that there is a pressure switch that is open when it should be closed. how do i locate the pressure switch. Is it inside one of the panels or on the outside of the unit.

Doubt the pressure switch is the problem. That switch is a safety. Might want to ask the installer to come and look at it. Since it should be under his 1 year warranty. Unless he installed it with no warranty.

You may have an improper vent issue.
