My Carrier high efficiency furnace doesn't work right

I have been having the same problem with my WeatherMaker SX and the technician just diagnosed the problem today as a faulty lockout box. I haven't gotten the bill yet, so I'm not sure how major of a repair this is....

My Carrier high efficiency furnace doesn't work right

Just an FYI, replacing the lockout box did not work. I had to start the furnace tonight by turning the thermostat from "Heat" to "Off" back to "Heat". I'll be monitoring this thread with interest... thanks.

My Carrier high efficiency furnace doesn't work right

Hi,

The problem is continuing on a daily basis for us and are having the service techician come out for a 3rd time tomorrow to try and diagnose what is happening. I've been getting up at 3am to turn the furnace off and then back to on to get it started. He said he'll be going over the wiring... We are a little concerned since we will be going on vacation in 2 weeks and live in Northern Illinois.....
