My a/c fan doesn't stop

My a/c fan motor doesn't stop. I have to shut off power completely. Believe that the wires are messed up.
Please advise

Sometimes that is an indication of a blown 24 volt power supply.... either the fuse or transformer ...

Other times it's an indication of leaving the "fan" switched on at the thermostat, or a shorted out control wire ...

My a/c fan doesn't stop

Thanks KB
The "fan" switch is in auto and even shutting off the a/c in the thermostat, the fan still runs.
It was not doing that but I believe that someone messed up the wires as they are all visible.
Is there any way I can verify if the wires are ok? The unit his relatively new, its a replacement unit Goodman, 3 years hold

Disconnect the green wire at the air handler where it comes down from the t'stat. Maybe a bad stat.

Take apart one of the little wires out side that comes from inside the house if it don't stop, post back.
