My blower won't turn off, either

Hi. I have a Goodman GMPN Condensing Gas Furnace. The circulating air blower is on constantly, whether the furnace is heating or not. This is a new occurance. Typically, the blower is only running while the unit is heating. Not constantly, as it is now, thus blowing cold air when the heater turns off. Any suggestions on what might be going on, and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi Charmed

First place to look is at the thermostat. Make sure the fan side is in the automatic setting. If this is not the problem you may need a new fan/limit installed to correct the problem.

Good luck

The GMPN furnace does not use a rotary fan limit. you may have a bad IFC, wiring or thermostat, but check fan switch first. it may have been bumped
