Mr. Slim ductless air cooling systems
Hello,
I'm going to install a tri zone ductless air cooling system on the first floor of my house. I'm looking at either the Mr. Slim product made by Mitsubishi or a competetive product made by LG. Does anyone have experience with either brand ? The LG brand appears to come in at less of a cost. Thanks, Bob New Jersey |

Sure, mini splits have been out for years. The Mitsubishi Mr. Slim is one of the oldest on the market. I've installed many of them. The LG one I have not heard anything about, but I havn't heard anything bad about it either. I have no reason to think it's better or worse than the Mitsubishi one.

If you want to go minisplit Mitsubishi is the way to go. You might also want to consider retrofitting for Central air using high velocity ducts.

Mr. Slim ductless air cooling systems
Hi robertmazzo
I have installed both of them, I have to agree with the others. I believe that LG means low grade. Good luck Rusty |
