Moving AC refrigerant line

How difficult a task is this, and what is involved?

My refrigerant line runs exactly below where my new toilet will be. The line is only a few inches from where it penetrates a joist, so I cannot bend it out of the way. Additionally,I don't have many options for moving the new toilet, so I'm stuck with moving the line.

not a DIY task. need a tech to remove the freon, cut the line, weld a new piece in to extend it, leak check it, pull a vacuum and recharge the unit. approx 4 hrs work @ $75-100/hr plus some materials and use of company equipment etc etc = $500 and up.

Bummer. Thanks for the info. I found some additional info online that backed that up.

Any HVAC guys in WNY willing to work for a few beers?

picture would help if you can....to open up a system freon work, and all the rest is a waste of money.if the insulated suction and raw copper line go thru a wood joist cut a hole-slot adjacent jig saw ,recip saw... to the piping and slide it over till it clears the toilet drop.....
