Mitigate outdoor smells from pumping station

When the wind is blowing in the wrong direction we get the distinct smell of the pumping station across a field from us. We have a beautiful front porch and I want to do something to mitigate the smell. I was thinking we could install industrial fans underneath the porch to blow up and out but I hate to go through the effort and expense without some expert opinion on how to go about this, or if it's worth it. Does anyone have advice or recomendation on which type of professional may be able to help?

if it is a county pumping station a call into them to clean up the building or whatever covers the station might be a way to go.is it city water or for a farm opposite your porch..?
