mini split choices give splitting headache!!


Indeed. We were in Blackfoot (near Idaho Falls) just for one winter and IIRC the low temps were almost always below 20, frequently below zero and once in awhile waaaaaayy down in the minuses. There was one 2 week period we couldn't get any of our cars running. Finally pushed one car into the garage and brought the battery inside the house to warm up and managed to get it running. Having just come from Florida that was quite a shock.

I think the house we were renting had baseboard heat, not sure if it had a boiler or was just straight electric.
