Why does my furnace rumble sometimes when it comes on?

If it is an oil furnace then it needs to be serviced properly. Needs a new nozzle and air adjustments to the burner by a Pro with a combustion analyzer. Rumbling can indicate you got excess unburnt oil in the chamber and that can be VERY dangerous. Can cause an uncontrolled fire in the furnace and house fire.

Wheeew Doggie,
Its exciting when an oil furnace starts to dance and you don't know if you should shi,,, or get the hell out of that house.
Oil furnaces are great when they are tuned with instaments. They are hells -a - poppin when they arn't.

When they get flooded with oil it is 100X worse in a trailer than a house. Oil can leak in the ductwork and under the trailer. If it catches fire there you are cooked inside a sardine tin. NO joke.
