Mastic?

Duct mastic is not an adhesive. It stays some what pliable.

Here one you can use.

yep just picked some at lowe's recently. it is water-based and has the fibers in it. it didn't have the word "mastic" on it though. it's just called duct sealant.

Mastic?

There are mastics, and there are duct sealers that also go by the name of hard cast, and a few other generic sealers that don't have or use a brand name.
