Loud, rhythmic clicking in furnace blower motor

I have an Armstrong Ultra SX and the motor started making a loud clicking noise that starts slow, them speeds up, then quits and goes through that cycle constantly.

It no longer starts up strong and fast. Could the capacitor be out?

Upon second inspection, it sounds like a bearing.

I agree...remove the debris that is stuck in the blower motor. Clicking stops.

If your cap. is out the blower wont start at all, if it is the bearings than change the motor
