Looking for correct dual run capacitor value

1 Attachment(s)
Hello All,
My outside condenser unit stoped working last night.
I found it humming.
The dual run capacitor can is bulging.
The capacitor can is rusted and I can not find the MFD values anywhere.
I believe the condenser unit is a Concord.
Model: CCU10A30A-1
Any help is much welcome

1) try americanhvacparts.com and give them the unit model and serial or Graingers and they may be able 2 look it up 4 U

2) carefully rub some cooking oil or spray Pam on it and use a magnifying glass and it may lift them back up 4 U.

Are you able to find the installation/technical documentation that is supposed to be left on the unit when it is installed? It is usually found in an envelope taped somewhere near the electronics area on the condenser. If you locate it you should be able to find what the original run capacitor specs are. Another possibility is to look at the condenser fan motor. The label will show what size capacitor it requires (probably 5mfd). Then get the compressor part number and post it so we can look it up to see what size run capacitor it requires. When I can't read part numbers/info I like to take a digital photo of the part and then use the computer to enlarge the photo to really magnify the numbers/letters.

Your compressor requires a 35mfd 370V run capacitor. Were you able to find the label on your condenser fan motor? That will tell you what size run capacitor required for that. I found reference to an air conditioner with model number SCU10A30A-1 (notice only first letter changed) that shows it takes a 35/5 MFD 370V dual run capacitor. These units are made by one company and then marketed under different names.

Thanks to all
I obtained a 35/5 MFD 370VAC capacitor from Grainger.
Momma is now cool and happy.
