Looking for Air Handler w\heater parts
This is a long shot.... I have an old Singer electric furnace aka air handler.
I need a syncronizer for it. (the relay that tells the heating fan to turn on.) I have the model numbers as such M#BCE22014 S#R4Z7E I have no clue what I am doing but I am very mechaniclly incliened. I just need to get this thing working for a short time so I can recoupe $$$ for the entire replacement of this unit. Any info on were to buy this part would be helpful. I thank you all in advance for any info you can provide. Thanks |

Looking for Air Handler w\heater parts
I found the part. All I did was call a buddy of mine whom I remembered worked in this field. He gave me the number a company whom supplies the HAVAC companies in the area.
I then took the defective syncronizer out of the furnace took it to the supply shop and they matched it up in 5 sec. I was quoted $500 to replace this and offered no warranty!! Becuase my unit is too old. Also this company was "Stronly advising" me to just replace the unit outright for $1800. Not only did I find the part I nedd to fix the problem....I found the part for $26!!! I now have heat. I was also told that any furnace is made up of the same basic components and you can replace them easy. It is just a matter of how bad of a condition they are in ex. rusting ect. I hope this helps someone else in the futuer as HVAC services are not cheap. I hope you like to save $$$ like I do!! :D |

I'm working on the same model singer unit and it sounds like I need the same part. Would it be possible to get the supplier info so I can order one. Thanks!

Looking for Air Handler w\heater parts good money after bad,,,,FWIW new air handlers are a lot more efficient than days of yore. You can also get ECM variable speed motors that save money on utility bills while at the same time keeping the home more comfortable.
