Line set for mini-split system

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a mini-split system being installed now, and the location of one of the air handlers requires a 75 foot line set.

The longest mini-split line set that I see is 50 feet.
Can I have one custom made for 75 feet?

Garrett

Line set for mini-split system

The installer adds to whatever the basic sizes are (25,30,50 feet) to get to necessary distance IAW manufacturer's instructions

Make sure the installer weighs in the charge.

Line set for mini-split system

Thanks for the quick reply.

I called the manufacturer, and the length of 75' is no problem, but they don't make a line set in that length.

I guess I am concerned about how secure the connection will be joining a 50' with a 25'.
Since this is a new house construction, if that line leaks it's not going to be easy to fix.

That's why I was wondering about having one continuous line made that is 75'.

Should I have the connection brazed after joining?
