Question Lighting Pilot fails occasionaly

This fall, I began to experience the following with my Lenox Elete series gas furnace. Most times when the heat cuts on the pilot lights and the furnace operates fine. Occasionally, the pilot will not light:
- Fan comes on to clear exaust (normal)
- after the exhaust fan runs several seconds the ignitor sparks for a short period (not normal, when lighting properly sparking continues 2 or 3 times as long until pilot lights.)
- this short sparking cycle will repeat 3-4 times then stop. The exaust fan will continue to run and run, but no pilot and no heat.
- two weeks ago the unit had it's pre-season servicing. I mentioned to the tech that I has observed a few times the pilot would not light (but had not determined the details above.) He checked out the pilot and ensured the gas ports were clean. He thought it was just air in the line from inactivity.
What needs to be done to fix this?

Replace the blue Johnson module, should fix the problem.
