What would be the expected life of a coil on a Lennox Merit 13 HPD?

Why do you ask? Did yours leak after 7 years? I have often wondered if the grabbing type of forklift used at my local Lennox plays any role in the leaks I see on the left tubesheet of the outdoor unit about a foot up from the bottom. Probably not...

The strange thing is their evaporator coils barely rust in the humid climate found down here. The most impressive of the top named brands in my opinion.

The unit is 4 years old. The outside coil was originally black but is now completely silver/white. The unit is extremely noisy turning on and off, and when going from aux heat to heat pump. The warranty has less than 1 year left and I am concerned. The technicians say this is normal but I question that.
