Lennox G50 wont ignite. Pressure switch is ok, intake clear, exhaust clear too

If the inducer is coming on no need to jump it. Fix air leak/casket.

Yes I will. Again thanks for all the help. This is the prob. A new motor costs 110$ so this saved me some coin.

What material is that gasket made of? Some type of non asbestos hi temp material. Cant find the gasket anywhere. I went to O Reilly auto parts and could buy a sheet gasket and cut my own. Any suggestions?

not sure but may be ceramic fibre material which would be suitable and may be available at heating supply or Big BOx store?

Worked for a while but stopped again. Took apart again. Inducer hub set screw is slipping now. I will try to tighten. This may have been the problem all along why air was not being drawn.

if there is room try to install one set screw on top of the first one ...that will lock it in place

even if you have to buy shorter set screws

It is easy to spin the balancer black plastic end by locking up squirrel cage. The set screw is solid. The shaft wobbles alot and is out of balance. I think the inducer bearing is shot. Geez what an ordeal this is. Im just gonna replace the motor

Inducer motor showed up today. Installed in 30 minutes as I am now proficient at taking my furnace apart and re assembling it. Burners fired up again. Ah sweet heat.Just before it gets really cold. Thx

Plenty of guidance was given here. With all the help, I ran it to a close on my own schedule. Didn't miss any work at my day job and the repair wasn't overly costly to complete. Now the after party!!!
