Lennox elite series 90 UGF

i have a lennox 90UGF furnance.. and sometimes it has trouble starting up when you switch on the termostat. it makes a startup noise but doesnt fully start. so i turn the furnance off and pull out the condensate tube connected to the condensate trap and it has water in it after draining it and putting it back and switching on the furnance it works. how do i solve this problem without having to do this all the time? some1 please help. thanks
