Lennox Air handler motor keeps running


I have a Lennox, the only way I can turn off the air handler is to turn off the breaker, heater still works, the outside unit still run when it needs to. Any suggestion what is the problem?

Your motor contactor could be jammed. Do you have electric heaters strips?

When you say heater still works that means to me you have gas furnace ...can you be a little more specific?

it's a heat pump
the air handler motor keeps running
I googled "Do you have electric heaters strips?", from hte picture it looks like heater they have in those old new york apartment (from movies) so the answer is no

I also tried to look up the model number CB28UH-036 to be more clear for you, cannot find out much
now I know there's a relay and a time delay relay (2 series connection) too

If there is no gas furnace and the AH is the only means of air circulation. you have electric heat.

The fan conntactor is jammed. or you have your thermostat set to FAN ON.
Also possible to have a bad control wiring problem.
