Lennox 12 GCS blower not working

No warm air is getting to the registers in the house. We just had preventative mainitenance on the unit. The technician said the motor/capacitor had been drawing too much current so he replaced the capacitor. He then said the current draw was within tolerance. Skip ahead two days and now our heat is not working. Here is what happens:

1. Put Fan on Auto or On / Heat/Cool/Off on Heat or Cool. Turn up/down the thermostat and you can hear the furnace kick on, then you hear the flame fire up and it continues to run like this forever. At no point do you feel any air in any of the registers within the house.

So irregardless of switch settings on the thermostat you never feel air at the registers.

I have checked the electrical breakers at the house electrical panels and they are NOT tripped.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds like you may have a bad motor. Does it go if you give it a spin?

Is there a manual anywhere that describes the steps to removing/replacing the motor? I am not sure of the best way to get to the blower motor.

Thanks

Most Lennox gas furnaces have two screws or bolts holding the entire blower assembly in. Once you pull that out then remove the bolts holding the motor bracket and loosen the set screw on the blower wheel. Sounds a lot more complicated then it is.

That is a package unit. Not to easy to get the fan out or work on. I would call the tech back. He may have loose wires or a bad capacitor. Otherwise you need to check for power to the motor B4 condemning it. May have a bad circuit board.
