Question

Is it leak from the basement or from The Heater?


Hello
i have a water leak under my Ruud Furnace , it is brand new Furnace and it has been installed in the summer so the leak starts after i start using it in winter.i will attach some pictures..

Is it leak from the basement or from The Heater?


Remove the front upper and lower doors on the furnace and take a closer look...

If it was just installed call the installer..too

thanks, The installer came to my house and did install the Left white drainage that is close to the door but the leak did not stop and had to come again to fix then the leak comes from different location after the second visit.

i have a leak in my heater unit (it is brand new unit) i dont really know if the leak from the unit or the basement ?

i have a leak in the basement i would to know if the leak from my new heater unit or from the outside to the wall to inside basemtn

So, Did YOU open the panels to take a look?

Did You call the installer back out to check?

Hi,The installer is not answering my calls?, i did not open the panel
the installer came twice to my house to fix it and the send me a text after leaving the house saying something about the rain!! , but before i start using the heater i had no problems at all,i start getting the leak right after i start using the heater

If you are not comfortable checking things out then call the company and ask for the owner.

Explain your concern and ask for a different tech or ask the owner to come and take a look.

Have him put those high voltage wires in conduit like it's supposed to be while he's there. Can't believe any inspector would let that pass.
