I added a kickspace heater using a monoflow T. I know why it doesn't work and that's because I have to two Ts to close to each other. When I redo it, I'm thinking of ditching the monoflow T and add a valve between the 2 Ts (not monoflow). It seems to me that would work better, I could purge the air easier, and I could throttle the flow to the kickspace. Is my thinking correct or should I go back and make the monoflow T work?
I put a gate valve in between the Ts. Hindsight 20/20, I don't know why I was screwing around with the monoflow T to begin with. Purging was effortless. After I heard all the air leave the heater. I just open the valve about 1/3 of the way and it works perfectly.
