Installing a Wood Burning Stove / Fireplace

I saw a thread from a couple of years ago and I was wondering if there was any new insight.

I am looking to install a wood burning stove / fireplace in my living room. I was wondering what kind of effort this was going to be. How do I get the vent out of the house is really my big question???? I understand the differences and the fireproofing for the floor but how do I vent it? Can I go out through the wall? can I go up through the roof? Can I tie it into an existing chimney that used to be fed by a wood burner in the basement? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

David

Help at http://www.duravent.com/?page=1b1.php

You can use the chimney probably with a liner kit. I am working on installing a stove and going up through the attic with Duravent Dura plus pipe. Be prepare to do a lot of surfing to get info on installing wood stove vent pipe.
type in duravent on your search engine and look at some of the supplier web sites. Many have links to installation help
sites.
