Installing Electric Heat in Attic

My house has a steam heating system that provides very nice heat, however, it does not provide much heat to the attic. The attic is finished.

I am contemplating installing electric heat in the attic. This would heat only the attic while the rest of the house is heated by the oil burner steam system.

Any thoughts on this? Good idea?

As long as the attic is insulated good and you have the electrical service to connect the proper size circuit breaker, why not.
Seems to me it would be a lot easier to run a wire and install a breaker with a length of baseboard than to run steam lines up there.

Do you already have rads up there that aren't working or you don't have anything up there?
