Installing a blue flame need help quick:(

ok so Im having a blue flame installed into my salon....Ran into a small ok maybe A HUGE problem I wanted it installed in a very specific spot and its not 36 inches away from the ceiling the top of the heater would be about 18 inches away from the ceiling if I go ahead and have it installed there is that a bad thang? I want to know why it suppose to be 36 inches from the ceiling it wont be on alot and it sure wont be on high very often if at all....please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never deviate from manufacture installation instructions. If that's what the instructions state. Follow them
