Installed a programmable thermostat today

Twenty minute job.

I postponed doing this for years due to: former high cost of these thermostats, former complexity in programming and by-passing schedules, and our energy saving temperature set points using an old round Honeywell 'stat.

I purchased a Honeywell FocusPRO TH6000 for ~$60, it comes pre-programmed needing only my changes to its base program, and friends continue to say they save $$$ with their 'stats.

Probably should have done this a few years ago.
