Inducer Exhaust Fan Wont Stop ON/OFF/ON/OFF

Guys - Furnace Problem
I have problems with my Fasco 7021-9594 Exhaust Inducer Fan running forever after the heat cycle. The fan runs for 4 seconds and then shuts off, restarts again and runs and then shuts off. Over and Over and never stops. Becomes very hot. It is spinning at the proper RPM when on.
I am not sure what tells the fan to start and stop? Is their a limit switch inside the plastic case? Does the pressure switch tell this fan when to turn on/off?
If i buy the Replacement Fasco A170 fan will this solve my problem?

Any help much appreciated
It is a Heil DC90 (92% Effecincy InterCity Products Furnace)

Not likely the induced draft fan. Don't replace it. Something in controls is failing or stuck.

Wait for more opinions.

You need to install a 2 watt 15,000 ohm bleeder resistor in the low voltage circuit. You can get the resistor at radio shack. Locate the W and C low voltage terminals on the furnace board. Wire the resistor between the W and C terminals, should take care of your problem.

Some new thermostats come with this resistor.

He would have had problem from day one if they were low voltage bleed over.

Another possibility is the control board or if its a 110volt Smart valve it could be short cycling the inducer.

Just checked the wiring diagram.

The blower board is separate from the valve. Have you changed the thermostat or any other part before posing here? If not than the board is going bad.

Got her fixed
The resistor took the load off the motor and it now shuts off and stays off.

Thank you for the postings. Much appreciated.

Still not sure though if the board is going bad or the thermostat on the wall? Oh well, works now. Another day.
