Im having problem with utica boiler pce
 

Hello guys Im having a problem the heater wont go on when the thermostat say it should. I went down stairs to check the pilot is on but it wont heat up. Ive checked the thermostat its showing number so i dont think its the battery on thermostat. I reset it and did it again and no it wont go on. What can it be?? I see the glass tube there is water in a littlemore than half.

nATURAL or propane?

Possible.
Open roll out switch.
Bad high pressure switch.
Dirty/clogged Low Water Cut Off.
Bad thermostat.
Defective gas valve.

The utica boiler is useing gas and the pressure is at 8. is that good? the pilot is on it just wont burn?

Is that 8" at the manifold, or at the gas valve inlet.

By on, do you mean the valve is turned to on, but no pilotflame.

Or the pilot flame is burning, but the main burner won't light.

i see the little flame of the pilot on but it wont all tuirn on all the fire so heat go up thats the onything it wont do but there is light of pilot.

Is this boiler steam or circulated water.

Then you need to check the things I listed. Any of them can cause the gas valve not to open.

Plus the 24 volt transformer.
