ignition control module or spark ignitor issue?

agent86 Newbie   Join Date: Dec 2012 Posts: 1	ignition control module or spark ignitor issue? SnyderGeneral furnace Honeywell control board. Is it as likely a spark ignitor board would go out as the actual spark ignitor? Is it worth replacing instead of the ignitor itself? I can replace the board easily..not sure about the ignitor itself as it is inside the unit. S8600H Honeywell board

S8600H Honeywell board thats called parts changing....not troubleshooting, you want to find out why and what part failed by tracing out wiring of system to the point of failure.....yes it could be ignitor..or board.or ground.or loose wire.or safety switch..or you get the point it could be alot of things...called troubleshooting..ben sr
